He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael DiLauro and Jennie Zaccagnino DiLauro; his brother Anthony (Tony); and his half-brother Joseph. He is survived by: his brother Louis; his wife Rita DiGenova of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his children, John Michael DiLauro (Pamela), Lisa Ann DiLauro of Roanoke, Christopher Anthony Scott DiLauro of Richmond, Ginny Echo Thompson and Misty Shanna Thompson Reynolds (Larry) of Portland, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Evan (Rachel), Jake (Sierra), Jamie (Ashlee) and Jupiter; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Summer, Urijah, Oliver, Lucy and Cain.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Raleigh Court United Methodist Church (1706 Grandin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24015).
