She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Bill, Helen Elder, Ray and Theda Hanus; her grandmother Denise Kershner; her great-aunts, Mary Saindon and Sara Minda; and her cousins, Dan Saindon, Joe Saindon, Jacob Pitera and Louis Hill.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Matthew Chapman; her mother Rebekah Pitera; her siblings, Chris Green and Claire Pitera; her stepfather Joey Pitera; her grandparents, Jim and Judy Elder; her uncles, Jordan Pitera (Cara), Jarred Pitera and Nick Minda; her aunt Emily Brown; her cousins, Dustin, Gabe, Jace and Mia; Renee Kratz Avis (Rich). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She went on to serve as security at the Salem VA Medical Center during the earliest days of Covid19.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be made to Central Virginia Burn Camp, 1960 Candlewyck Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
