With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Edwin LeGrande Sr. of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. S. LeGrande and Fanny LeGrande; his sons, Ron, John and Larry, Jr.; and his siblings, Spurgeon, Douglas, Sylvia, Jean, Jackie and Ernestine.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Diane Thompson (Chris), Mary Hairston (Mark) and Lori LeGrande; his sister Ruth Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Pauline LeGrande, James Ferguson, Herbert Coles (Delores) and Benjamin Clay, Sr.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
