He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Rogers, Jr. and Mary Rogers; his brother Kevin Rogers; and his daughter Elizabeth Rogers. He is survived by: his sons, Leigh of Bedford and James (Amanda) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Killian and Lucian; and his siblings, Stephen of Roanoke, Michelle Rogers Humrich of Richmond and Suzanne Rogers Miller (Rick) of Catawba. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakey's Roanoke Chapel (318 Church Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
