He is survived by: his wife Marie Bowling (Sledd); his children, Steve Bowling (Elaine), Eric Bowling (Cindy), Lori Robertson (Landon) and Lisa Wimmer (Sean); his grandchildren, Reese Bowling of Richmond, Riley Bowling of Richmond, Maggie Bowling of Richmond, Luke Bowling of Richmond, Ava Bowling, Joshua Bowling, Nathaniel Bowling of Richmond, Dylan Lewis of Roanoke, Aynslie and Camden Robertson of Rocky Mount; and his sisters, Odrie Thurlo of Mocksville, NC and Nancee Lee of Moneta, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
