He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Donna Sigman (David) of Van Wyck, SC, Dawn Graham (Buddy) of Cheraw, SC, Melanie Smith (Steve) of Greer, SC and Harry Buchanan of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Justin Hollingsworth, Brent Hollingsworth (Jordanne), Kate Graham, Samantha Brigman (Joshua), Emily Graham, Alex Smith (Mareena), Sara Staalman (David), Caroline Seiber (Sinjin), Erika Edwards, Jack Buchanan (Kate), Kevin Buchanan and Troy Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Stella Brigman, Elliott Staalman, Lewis Seiber, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Levi Staalman, Lennon Edwards, Kacey Brigman, Ember Seiber and Kip Smith; and his siblings, Diane Oliver of Morganton, NC and Bruce Buchanan of St Johns, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (http://www.t2t.org) or Children's Cancer Partners (http://www.childrenscancerpartners.org) in gratitude of the assistance provided during great-grandson Levi's leukemia treatment.
