She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelbert Furrow and Geraldine Emaline Martin Furrow; her sons, Eugene Delancy Smith (Smitty) and James Edward Smith (Eddie); and her siblings, Donald Furrow, Randal Furrow, Exie Underwood, Anna Bowman, Jaqueline Welch, Shirley Pandelis and Barbara James.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy Leon Smith (Ramona) and Timothy; and her siblings, Linda Garrett, Bonnie Martin and Billy Furrow. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home (5731 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give a donation to the Good Samaritan Hospice.
