She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur; her parents, Robert Widner and Theora Widner; and her grandson Travis Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Robert Godsey (Sally), Beverly Nichols (Cecil), Charlotte Burnette (Mark), Donnie Godsey (Joan) and Nashville Road Bowling Green. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren nieces and nephews; and a brother.
