She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Gobble and Sybil Gobble; her husband Charles E. Scruggs, Jr.; her son Charles Michael Scruggs; and her siblings, David, Dan, George Gobble, Nell Mullins, Margaret Jones and Fredia McThemia.
She is survived by: her sister Etta Jean Patton; and her sisters-in-law, Jackie Scruggs Taylor, Diane Scruggs, Thelma Gobble and Beverly Gobble. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Oakey's North Chapel (318 Church Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
