Lois Draper Wright Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Draper Wright of Roanoke, Virginia, born in Montvale, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clyde and Daisy Lillian Callahan Draper; her former husband Roe Patterson Parkey, Jr.; her grandsons, Blake Logan Parkey and Cody Lee Parkey; her siblings, Mamie Draper and Luther Draper; her siblings' children, Mark Draper, Kerry Draper, Jeff Noffsinger and Rhonda Jayne; and her pet Gracie.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Wright; her children, Andrea Cowden and Greg Parkey; her grandchildren, Cameron King, Conner Parkey, Liam Harrell and Brayden Parkey; her sister Joyce Curd; her sister-in-law Anne Lindsay Elliott; and her nephews, Rickey Draper and Brian Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1401 Mountain View Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
