Thomas Penn (Towanda); her grandchildren, Courtney Penn (Angela) of Roanoke, Aaron Penn (Renee) of Roanoke and Olivia Hall of Hampton; her great grandchildren, RayQuan (Lakerra) of Roanoke, Zaire Penn of Erlanger, KY, Marquise Hall of Hampton, John-Miller Penn of Roanoke, Jasmine King of Hampton, Iyani Hall of Hampton, Bryanna Penn of Roanoke and Angela Penn of Roanoke; and her great great grandchildren, Shaun of Roanoke, Asher of Roanoke, Amar of Roanoke, Azaryah Penn of Roanoke, Aaron of Mississippi, Franklin Owens of Mississippi, Desai, Thomas Penn of Erlanger, KY and Avery Penn of Roanoke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory (1002 Moorman Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Memorial Baptist Church (2105 Carroll Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24017). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens (7271 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
