She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Daniel Schmidt and Grace Mayton Early Schmidt; her significant other Larry Harvey (Glen); and her sister Julia Ann Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Byron Harvey (Karen) of Wellford and Connie Gault (Tim) of Mooresville; and her brother Daniel Schmidt of Blue Ridge. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shenandoah Baptist (6520 Williamson Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
