She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Gene Whitt; and her parents, Clyde Tackett and Zelma Dean McKinney Tackett. She is survived by: her brothers, Billy Joe and Bobby Lee; her sister-in-law Shirley Keaton Tackett; her sister Patsy Ann Brumfield (Bill); her brothers-in-law, Max Gabbard Jr. and Sam Killen; her in-laws, Chester and Emma Whitt; her daughter-in-law Margie; her nephews, Bobby Tackett (Rusty) and Max Gabbard III; her siblings, Leo McKinney and Lorene McKinney Carlin; her children, Larry Gene Whitt of Roanoke, VA and Andrea Robinette (Mike) of Stirrat, WV.; and her siblings, Linda Killen of Logan, WV and John Tackett (Ocie) of Charleston, WV.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (5452 Jerry W Hwy, Switzer, WV 25647). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
