She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Hairston (Mark), Lori LeGrande and Diane Thompson (Chris); her grandchildren, Carlitia Coles, Jon LeGrande, Sr., Andre Coles, Anthony Hairston, Mychal Thompson, Darise Walker, Ronald Coles, Jr., Morgan Headley, Shanae Coles, Shawn Coles, Shameka Coles and Sharhonda Coles; her great grandchild Jon "Jonny" LeGrande Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Pauline LeGrande, Benjamin Clay, Sr. and James Ferguson; and her family, Dr. Owusu Asamoah, Dr. Quasir Rasa, Krista, Monica, Sarah, Lori and Rita.
