It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Richardson Ellis (Roanoke, Virginia), born in Erin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Zanie Richardson and Ewing Richardson; her siblings, Eugenia, Ewing, Thomas and Robert Richardson; her husband Walt Ellis; her children, Elizabeth, Meg (Bill) and Bart (Grace); her grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Chris, Beth, Brad and Amanda; and her aunt Wash. She was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
