She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Sturgill; her children, Russell Sturgill, Wesley Sturgill and Dorinda Sturgill; and her sister Shirley Overstreet.
She is survived by: her son Dwayne Sturgill; her grandchildren, Randy Sturgill, Caley Sturgill, Dee Sturgill and Crystal Sturgill; her sister Rosiland Wiley; her daughter-in-law Carol Sturgill; and her nieces, Robin Wiley and Pamela Overstreet. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fair View Cemetery (3300 Melrose Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24017).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
