She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hendrick and Olive Hendrick; her husband Otis Sherwood Taylor; and her brothers, Marvin "Bug" Hendrick and William "Bill" Hendrick.

She is survived by: her sister Donna Davids; her children, Ricky Taylor (Barbara), Sherlene Jones (Ken) and Suzanne Taylor; her grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Mark Taylor Jr., Cortney Jones-Norman, Rachael Shimko, Lindsey Jones-Valvo and Kelsey Jones; and her great grandchildren, Anastasia Jones and Alice Valvo.
