He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Scott, Sr. and Rachael Scott; and his sisters, Bertha Barrows and Ann Payne. He is survived by: his wife Gloria M. Scott; his children, Janet Scott, Michael N. Scott Jr. (Hollani), Cecil W. Scott (Precious), Alisha M. Clark and Philip D. Scott; and his siblings, Francis Scott, Jr. (Janet), Alphonso Scott (Carol), Isaac (Charlene) and Lynda (Oliver). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (1415 8th St NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
