He is survived by: his parents, Billy Young and Geraldine "Gerri" Young; his brother Gregory Young (Susan); his close friends, David Wray, Terry and Brett; and his cousins, Debbie Pickett (Tony), Sue Combs (Gywnn) and Sandra Haga (Jim).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakey's South Chapel (4257 Brambleton Ave, Cave Spring, VA 24018). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012).
