It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadine Johnson Hodges of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Montague Hodges, Jr.; and her siblings, O. B. Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Lloyd W. Johnson (Dixie), Nancy Dillon and Sylvia J. Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa H. Balthis (Henry); her siblings, Wayne Johnson (Peggy), Travis Johnson (Louise) and Vernelle J. Tuck; and her siblings-in-law, J. Cox and Diane Johnson.
The family requests memorial donations be made in her honor to her church, Preston Oaks Baptist Church, 102 Preston Ave., NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
