She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Hassell Thomas and Annie Louise Haymaker Thomas; her husband Albert Hansford Clemons, Sr.; her siblings, Ann Roberson and Michael Thomas; and her brother-in-law Jack Leffel.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Brogan, Tonya Clemons and Bert Clemons (Shelley); her stepdaughter Malinda Hart; her grandchildren, Brittany Brogan (Todd Harris), Charlie Clemons and Lila Clemons; her stepgrandson Sam Goodman; her sister Mary Lynne Leffel; and her brother-in-law David Roberson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Franklin Memorial Park (21440 Virgil H Goode Hwy, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
