Nelson left this world on May 6, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Marie Leonard Dudley; his parents, Albert Huffmann Dudley and Frances Kelly Dudley (Fannie); and his daughter-in-law Tiffany Dudley. He is survived by: his sons, Dwight and Mark; his daughter-in-law Kristol; his grandchildren, Lilly, Riley and Aniline; his niece Sharron Barnes (Kenny Barnes); and his brother Kermit Wayne Dudley (Doris Grisso Dudley). He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters in-law.
The family would like to especially thank the entire staff at Davis and McDaniel Veterans Care Center for their loving care and attention they provided while he was stationed there during the pandemic.
