He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Gill. He is survived by: his mother Nettie Gill Johnson; his wife Diane Gill; his stepsons, Chris and Justin Janney; his siblings, Carla Jackson (Leroy), Dathea Bowles (George), Juanda Bradshaw (Calvin) and Terry Coleman (Barbara); his nephew Chris Wade; and his great-niece Bella. He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
