“I want to offer my sympathy to Steven and family. I was a friend of your Mom, Pamela, from the late 1970s. I was on the bowling league with her for several years and joined the Air Force and your mother joined the Navy Reserves. Through the years we exchanged annual Christmas card (Birthday card to her). We lost touch over the last ten years and I did not know she was back in Roanoke. Your mother was a dear and caring friend and I will miss her. Praying for you all. Julie Eanes Perrin”
