We announce the death of Rachel Jeanie Beard of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 33. Rachel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Steven Donald Beard, Margaret Ann Beard and James Irvin Craft; and her aunts, Shupe and Joann Matthews.

She is survived by: her daughters, Maya Jolie and Luca Isabella; her partner Ozi Peralta; her parents, Hope Craft and Ron Beard (Tasha); her grandmother B. J. Craft; her siblings, Carlie Beard (Shawn) and Seth Beard (Kayla); her nieces, Scarlett, Layla and Alayna; her aunts and uncles, Misty Eubank, Cindala Craft (Thomas), Suzanne Puckett, Richard Eubank and Bob Puckett; her close friends, Sherrie Spradlin, Cierra Spradlin, Ciara Gravett, Taylor Fitzgerald and Brittany Adkins; and her friend Rachel. She is also survived by numerous cousins, family members.
