He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F McDaniel and Martha M McDaniel. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Moore McDaniel; his daughter Angela L McDaniel; his siblings, Wilmer (Bertha McDaniel), Fletcher B McDaniel, Lucille Pyles, Mamie (Eddie Dunning), Mary Sue (Jones) and Frances (Bill Mattingly); his wife Janie W McDaniel; his sisters, Pat (Bob Reynolds), Kathy (Claude Baker) and Donna (Steve Johnson); his siblings-in-law, Roger White and Julia McDaniel; and his caregivers, Rebecca and Betty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's South Chapel (4257 Brambleton Ave, Cave Spring, VA 24018). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
