He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Sharp; his parents, Neal Sharp and Georgia Sharp; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Burnette and Pat Bunting.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott, Nick and Kim Sharp of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Sarah Hudson (Jared) of Greenville, Emily Perkins (Davis) of Roanoke and Tyler Sharp of Roanoke; his sister Jean Burnette; his niece Cindy Allen (family: Stephanie, Mark Burnett); his brother-in-law Fuller Bunting; and his nephews, Mike and Chris Bunting. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
