He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lyle and Margaret Lyle; and his brother Don Lyle. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lyle; his son Daniel Lyle; his grandchildren, Landin Lyle, Andrew Robertson, Bentley Robertson, Hailey Robertson, Mason Lyle, Gracie Lyle, Zakkary Lyle and Jesse Lyle; his great grandchild Jaxson Robertson; his siblings, Mike Lyle (Linda), Robert Lyle (Bonnie), Willie Lyle and Diane Roark (Ronnie); and his sisters-in-law, Billie Turner (James) and Donna Early. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lotz Vinton Chapel (305 E Washington Ave, Vinton, VA 24179). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
