He was predeceased by: his wife Chasity; his parents, Marcus R. Rose and Dorcas L. Rose; and his brother Marcus I. Rose. He is survived by: his sisters, Rebecca L. Beck (Greg) of Virginia Beach and Deborah J. Ready (Buck) of Moneta, Virginia; and his stepbrother Raymond A. Rose of Durham. He is also survived by four nieces, two nephews and numerous cousins.
