He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank N. Woolwine and Evie Trump Woolwine; his siblings, Robert A. Woolwine and Joyce W. Wall; his nephew Tony A. King; and his brother Ralph Woolwine.
He is survived by: his wife Karen White Woolwine; his children, Melinda McPeak (Steve), Jennifer Hall (Richard Dillon) and Richard A. Woolwine (Stacey); his grandchildren, Ryan McPeak, Nathaniel Hall, Noah Bruce Hall, Nicolas Jones, Curtis Dillon, Austin Woolwine and Ashton Dillon; and his siblings, Larry Woolwine (Tamara) and Rebecca Warren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24017).
