He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Lindsay and Clara DePuy Lindsay; his wife Gwendolyn McCormack Lindsay; and his siblings-in-law, Bill McCormack, Pam McCormack and Gabriele McCormack.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Carolyn M. Hinkle of Covington, Julie McCormack of Covington, Steve McCormack of Covington, Bob McCormack of Troutville and David McCormack (Karlee) of Troutville; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan McCormack (Sarah) of Roanoke, Megan Rivero (James) of Richmond, Brandi McCormack of Covington, Brady McCormack of Roanoke and Mallory Loser (Carl) of Winston Salem, NC. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews.
