He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Saunders Mitchell; his sons, Steve (Jane Mitchell), Roger (Ursula Mitchell) and Dan (Trisha Mitchell); his grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell, Amanda Ruckman, Megan Mitchell, Saedy Devery, Kilie Cottle, Virginia Mitchell, Caroline Mitchell and Danaka Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Allen Ruckman, Samantha Ruckman and Eleanor Cottle.
