He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Spence Nicely; his children, Brandon Nicely (Lisa), Brian Nicely (Dawn), Rodney Nicely (Monica) and Susan Harper (Bradley); his grandchildren, Chandler Nicely, Bryce Nicely, Mat Parrish (Alexis), Madeline Nicely, Ashton Harper, Sophie Nicely, Addison Harper and Lila Nicely; his great grandchild Bearette Parrish; and his sisters, Christine Nicely and Patsy Dobbins (Frank).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Building Fund C/O Northview United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
