We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 66, Rodney Earle Swedberg of Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Rodney leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Swedberg (Alena), Zaida Cassell (Ronnie) and Robin Swedberg (Jennifer); and his stepchildren, Ashley Jones (Robert), Amber Dudding and Matt Dudding (Jasmine). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
