He was predeceased by: his parents, Gravely Manuel Johnson and Myrtle Hill Johnson; his wife Sandra Lee Johnson; and his brother Gravely Manuel Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Amy Johnson Rigsby (Brandon Rigsby) and Ronald Preston Johnson, Jr. (Kat Johnson); his grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson (Dora Johnson), Joshua Johnson, Emilee Mikayla Rigsby and Fallon Shea Rigsby; his great grandchild Julian Johnson; and his sister Sandra Ilene Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153).
