It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Chew (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bevins and Bertie Bevins; her spouse Major Robert Lee Chew; and her adoptive daughter Denise Parries. She is survived by: her children, Lee, Catherine and Martha; and her adoptive children, Frankie Parries and Robin Wright. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her honor to the Virginia State Police Association Emergency Relief Fund at 6942 Forest Hill Avenue, Richmond, VA 23225.
