She is survived by: her children, Mark Atherton (Dorothy) of Vienna, VA, Martha "Marty" Atherton of Salem, VA and Sue Fessler (Mark) of Columbia Falls, MT.; and her grandchildren, Claire, Paige, Miles Atherton, Avery and Camden Fessler.
