She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Leftwich and Helen Leftwich-Cook; and her siblings, Lucy Leftwich Taylor, Laveda Jamison and Archie Leftwich Jr..

She is survived by : her husband James A. Muse; her sons, Jamie Muse (Alisha) and Mark Walker (Toniece); her siblings, Emma Jean Dickerson, Thomas Barbour Jr. (Donna) and Warren Leftwich; and her friends, Gayle Muse and Serenity. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
