She is survived by: her sister Mattie Powell (Biddie); her nephews, Gary Lewis (June) and Tony Powell (Trina); her close friends, Liz Hardy, Deacon George Hardy and Marian Roach; her friend Serenity; Cameron Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (5214 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012). Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (1415 8th St NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
