Sonya Mitchell Obituary
In loving memory of Sonya Mitchell of Roanoke, Virginia, who departed this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 64. Sonya leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sonya's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sonya has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her husband Rick Mitchell; her daughters, Monica Cole (Troy) and Khristina Mitchell; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Madisen and Bekah.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019).
