It is with sadness that the passing of Suzanne Carter Tyree of Roanoke, Virginia is shared. Suzanne, born on December 4, 1944, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin Carter and Hazel Simmons Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Tyree (Michelle) and Tracy Tyree (Teresa); her grandchildren, Megan Tyree, Joseph Tyree (Amy), Brittany Tolley (Brandon), Billy Tyree (Kaitlin), Jimmy Tyree (Tierny) and Jarred Gray (Jessie); and her close friends, Pat Ingles Colwell, Janet Medina and Viola Goacher. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's South Chapel (4257 Brambleton Ave, Cave Spring, VA 24018). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
