Virginia Snead Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Snead of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest William Flinchum and Lelia Stump Flinchum; and her husbands, Wallace Booth and Larnie Snead. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Nichols (Jim) and Shelby Martin (Scott); her grandson Brad Scott; and her sister Geneva Harris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (5070 Cove Rd, Roanoke, VA 24017).
