It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ferguson of Rocky Mount, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Ferguson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cabel Pendleton and Grace Sowder Pendleton; her husband Julian "J. C." Ferguson; and her siblings, Hilda "Bootie" Guilliams, Maude Bolling, Frances "Babe" Hodges, Mary Pendleton, Jake Pendleton, Howard Pendleton, Wiss "Littlon" Pendleton, John "Biggon" Pendleton and Frank Pendleton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Furrow (Ricky) and Faith Flora; and her grandsons, Cory Furrow (Estelle), Tim Furrow and Jonah Flora. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and special neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Chapel (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Glade Hill Baptist Church.
