He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Norene Guthrie; his parents, Jake Guthrie and Alie Guthrie; and his siblings, Mae Parcell, Guthrie Sr., Carl Guthrie and Ernest Guthrie.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Frances Wilson and Thelma Martin; his daughters, Brenda Harris and Kathy Orr (Melvin); and his grandchildren, Sheila Mattingly, Benjamin Harris, Joseph Harris (Ashley), Joshua Harris, Adam Orr (Rachel), Richard Orr (Nita), Miranda Keatts and Jordan Orr (Elissa). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and many more nieces, nephews, and many more family and friends.
