He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Henry and Ethel Smith Edwards; and his siblings, Fannie, Rachel, Annie, Lee, Elbert, Ivan, Joseph and Benjamin.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda of The Villages, FL; his children, Yolanda of Bowie, MD, Pam (Anthony) of Cincinnati, OH, Teneta (Chris) of Alpharetta, GA, Ronald (Cheryl) of Temple Hills, MD, Kenneth of The Villages, FL, Jay (Daphne) of Rocklin, CA and Derrick (Tonya) of Brandywine, MD; his grandchildren, Demiyal, Kwaylon, Zehran Sunevah (Marcus), Kayona, Auriana, Aliyah, Anthony Jr., Justin, Arianne, Andrew, Brittany, Rashad, Malik, Chris Jr. and Chance; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Sarai; and his sister Velather of Lafayette, CA. He is also survived by relatives, church members and lifelong friends.
