He is survived by: his wife Hilda of The Villages, FL; his children, Yolanda of Bowie, MD, Pam (Anthony) of Cincinnati, OH, Teneta (Chris) of Alpharetta, GA, Ronald (Cheryl) of Temple Hills, MD, Kenneth of The Villages, FL, Jay (Daphne) of Rocklin, CA and Derrick (Tonya) of Brandywine, MD; his grandchildren, Demiyal, Kwaylon, Zehran Sunevah (Marcus), Kayona, Auriana, Aliyah, Anthony Jr., Justin, Arianne, Andrew, Brittany, Rashad, Malik, Chris Jr. and Chance; his great grandchildren, Reginald, Jr. and Sarai; and his sister Velather of Lafayette, CA. He is also survived by relatives, church members and lifelong friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory - Rocky Mount (195 Maple Ave, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pigg River Community Center (2410 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Edwards-Smith Cemetery.
