She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Kermit Holcomb and Lucy Holcomb; her husband Charles Randolph Brown; her son Don Brown; her brother Melvin; her sister-in-law Nancy Holcomb; her siblings, Glennis Holcomb and Carmel Powell; and her sister-in-law Sherry Holcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Charles R. Brown, Jr. (Peggy), Carl W. Brown, Susan B. Rea (Terry) and Linda B. Davis (Mike); her grandsons, Bobby Rea (Stephanie) and Stephen Brown; her great grandchild Ethan Rea; her brothers, Wayne Holcomb and Bobbie Holcomb; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Holcomb and Jim Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fork Mountain United Methodist Church, 2024 Fork Mountain Road, Bassett, VA 24055.
