He is survived by: his brother Virgil Buck Mitchell; his half-brother Jim Lamkin (Nancy); his sister Frances Young; his wife Mary Dale Mitchell; his children, Jennifer Martin (Bruce), Kim Caldwell (Michael), Lisa Harris, Hubert Dale Mitchell (Jessica), Roy Beckner and Michael Beckner (Terry); his grandchildren, Alyssa Mitchell, Dakota Mitchell, Jessica Rico, Logan Beckner, Seraphenia Caldwell, Jacoby Caldwell, Michael and Leland Carmichael; and his close friend Robert Largin (Bobby Blue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
