He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Miller; and his parents, Ann Rose Carney and Melburn Z. Miller. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Wilson Miller; his children, Charlene Marie Miller Hutchins and James Albert Miller of Rocky Mount, VA; his son-in-law Rudolph Lynwood Hutchins; his grandsons, Michael Shane Miller (Michelle) and David Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Telle Miller (Elina) of Texas, Austin Saponaro of Rocky Mount and Lydia Miller of Martinsville.
