He is survived by: his children, Tammy Thompson (William), Jonathan Vayan, Steven Vayan and Heidi Carpenter (Doug); his grandchildren, Gwendolynn Benning, William Thompson, Kailey Vayan, Alyssa Vayan, Damien Withrow and Amber Carpenter; his siblings, Eddie Vayan, Billy Vayan and Mary Babycos; and his close friend Pam Rout. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
