He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene B. Turner and Fannie Hall Turner; and his siblings, Christine Bowman, Hazel "Polly" Booth, Cathleen Whitlow, Hansel Turner and Troy Turner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roy Turner (Carol) and Eunice Turner of Woolwine; his grandson Troy Newton of Callaway; his great grandchildren, TJ Newton, Haley Newton and Landon Boyd; and his great great grandchild Tatum Newton.
